Ben and Olivia met in college in New England. Two southerners that decided to brave New Hampshire winters to experience something new. Ben played football and Olivia played rugby- they were meant for each other, right? Fate would have it that they would meet on February 14th, 2007, after a blizzard dropped three feet of snow and limited classes for the first time in nearly 50 years at the college. Cupid’s arrow must have taken the long way around because we didn’t speak again beyond a mere wave and polite “hello” for three years!
A chance encounter in 2010 sparked a friendly request to “grab dinner sometime.” It may have been more than a friendly request, but the former football player was a bit of a blockhead when it came to girls and relationships. Many years later, he still isn’t sure if it was a date, but is certainly happy to call it one now.
Fast forward a few years, a few moves, and a few kids later and here we are!
